Goolsby and his colleagues, including staff from NCDMPH and Department of Military and Emergency Medicine, in collaboration with the University of Virginia and Charlottesville, Va., have also been working on a study as part of this initiative. They also found that those who had web-based training were not only willing, but also able to use the tourniquets quickly, and could also tell which wounds required tourniquets.
